Exercise to Fight Colon Cancer!

A review of 52 studies published in the British Journal of Cancer shows a positive correlation between exercise and a reduced risk for colon cancer. Regular exercise reduces the risk of bowel and colon cancers, which are the third most common form of cancer. Exercise helps lower levels of hormones linked to cancer and inflammation. The studies show that both men and women who exercise regularly reduce their colon cancer risk by 24%. Press Association, February 11, 2009
