Possible Genetic Link for Colorectal Cancer
An international team of researchers had isolated a genetic marker that could predict a person’s likelihood for developing colorectal cancer. Better screen has led to decreased death rates from colorectal cancers, but the screening process can be expensive and miss tumors. A genetic test could help improve rates of success in finding colorectal cancers. A genetic test would be less expensive, too. HealthDay, June 18, 2009
