Analyses Link Smoking to Colorectal Cancer
The Journal of the American Medical Association recently published an analysis of studies involving colorectal cancer and smoking. 106 studies concluded that smokers are 18% more likely to develop colorectal cancer, and 17 studies show that smokers are 25% more likely to die from the disease. The report strongly suggests that cancer screening be correlated to a person’s smoking habits. MedPage Today
