Anxiety: Catalyst for Chronic Health Issues

The Harvard Women’s Health Watch published a study in July describes the effect of anxiety on people with several chronic conditions, including gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders and heart disease. The article suggest that high rates of anxiety are correlated with chronic diseases. Patients with anxiety may be at risk for developing IBS, according to a New Zealand study.
